good/bad? Swapping front springs and not back

I'm currently running 20's, have about 2" clearance in front and 1'' in back (rear fenders rolled). Front is 245/30/20 and the rears are 285/25/20. I'm a suspension novice. I'm looking to lower the front by around an inch to close the gap a bit and match the clearance in back. Would only swapping the front springs to an Eibach set be bad on the all stock suspension? and is an alignment the only thing required after doing so?

Check out the lowering spring perches from Supreme Power, should be what you're looking for

I think it would make the car handle oddly. I would not recommend doing so. Eibach pros only drop about .6" over sports suspension anyways. I would not do it, but thats just me.

ok, like i said, im a suspension noobie. so when a kit says a drop of 1" F, 1.5" R i need to deduct the stock drop of .6" from each to get the new ride height? makes sense to me but just making sure.

I.E. the new ride heights will be .4" lower in front and .9" lower in back compared to the stock ride height.
