Great job
Let's hope the front lights are as per Jon's rendering and not the standard model Just one tiny little thing...........why black grill slats but chrome grill outer edge? Is it not all black or all chrome? |

Beautiful! Really outstanding.
I notice some slight differences between Jonsibal's and Alpine's renders. The bonnet raise on Jon's being the main one. Will be interesting to see which is closer! Both.. jaw droppingly amazing though!

I really hope it turns out this way...the carbon fiber roof is a must ! (if not, just wrap the roof in carbon fiber vinyl )

I really hope there will be no 1M convertible...what's the point of such a car ? For posing the 135 really is enough...

Seriously, you guys must be like children if you think open air sports cars are something new or for posing. You get the best thrill with a top down - the best ever rides I had were in a Caterham and a 427. The latter now being my all time dream car.
Convertibles are a great way to experience some of that action in a daily driver. The thing I don't like about many new convertibles is the hard tops - they really do add too much weight. Soft tops are definitely the way to go.

Sorry but I don't see the purpose of so much weight and body flex added to a true sports car on purpose. Why should they bother ? The car will be slow and handle poorly. This is not what they intended with the 1M.

I do admit if you're going to track a car more than use it as a daily driver, then you probably would want a car either designed as open air or go for the coupe version. But be real - 99% of us want this 1M as a daily driver, get it out in the open and let loose. I can't speak for the Americans, but over here taking a trip to the Ring isn't a weekly thing, it's a big deal, you plan for it and make the trip when time allows, lucky if you go twice a year. More than that and you probably are lucky enough to live nearby.
