You can order just the front, i think my dealer said it was around $1750, plus paint, install, and GST, it came to around $2600.

Front aero lip alone is $496.50 CAD unpainted from a dealer. Shop around till you get that price.

Thnx!

Honestly I have no idea what the front aero bumper is, unless you mean the M-tech bumper, which is a bumper replacement.

M-tech bumper replacement:

aero-kit front lip:

Parkview, Budds, etc are notorious for overcharging on parts.

Yep, you just remove the current lip and install the new one.

Both quotes suck. The Budds one isn't terrible, but it isn't great. Man dealers wonder why people like us don't get aftermarket work done there? Seriously, I spoke with a bus dev manager at Budd's about this once and this is the perfect example, $1000 total to paint and put on a $500 *lip*, what the hell?

I would buy the lip for $496+tax from whoever will sell it to you at that price (hint: Maranello will sell it to you for $496 primed, and let you take it wherever you want for paint/install), take it to a paint shop of your choice, which will probably be better than the dealer anyway, and cheaper (for example, I got a quote of ~$200 from a local shop, which is way more reasonable for a lip spray), then either install it yourself (which is not hard) or shoot over to RMP Motors and have Rocco install it. I'd bet a tenner he wouldn't charge more than an hour labor.

I am going to wait till spring on it, but if I do go with the aero lip I don't expect to pay more than $800 all in with taxes, painted, and installed (and likely less since I'd install myself).

For paint you could go pricey + awesome quality and use European, or you could do someone like A One Auto and get a decent job for ~$200 (still prob better than a dealer).

Ohhh, ok that e-mail did have me a bit confused. She kept talking about 496, 450, 400, adhesive, blah blah blah.

Yes, that is a good deal and the route I would go; should be just over $500 taxes in. Then $200 to paint, ~$100 to install and you're done for $800. Nice work.

Thanks Picus, My dealer is working on the installation and paint price, there first prices was $600 to install and paint. I told them they were nuts as other US dealers have been doing it for $250US. So they are going to get me another price form the Service Manager.

OK I am not in Canada BUT....
Does anyone know of a way to get in contact (e-mail) with a dealer in California to order just the front lip? I have tried two different dealers in San Diego and I get no reply from them. I can only email and don't have phone access.
Thanks!
