Side gill installation

I installed my matte black side gills and got the passenger side done in less than 5 minutes. While I was working on the drivers side, the round matte black piece (stock piece) that covers the hole to the fender fell into the fender. Its all the way down into the fender and I tried to get it out for about 45 minutes and gave up soon after. Any one know how I can get it out of there? Any access to the fender that I don't know about? I really don't want to have to take it to the shop and have them remove the fender for that.

I just did the exact same thing....My small 11 year old daughter reached in and snagged it. Go find a kid. Since its plastic you cant use a magnet. Maybe a coat hanger?
