Passenger Airbag deployed?

I am wondering if an airbag on the passenger side deployed on a e92 would I need a new dash?

yes its deployed from an airbag above the cup holders concealed by the covering of the dash!

+1 The passenger airbag will destroy your dashboard when deployed. If you pay attention most new cars from most manufacturers use this design. The reason is that during testing they found a small potential for the occupant to be struck by the airbag door so they eliminated the door and use a tear through design instead.
