Just wanted to add a note for those with a diesel, the driver side it a PITA to get to. I have small ass hands and they got cut up pretty good as I had to go in behind the marker, through the fender. Not sure there was an easier way to do it, but I didn't do it that way. Passenger side was a breeze as there are plenty of notes previously posted about how to do it on non-diesel models.

Looks good - I got painted markers on '11 Sapphire and really makes a huge difference, very sporty. Another member (Epacy) commented on install of painted markers on the D, he said he had to drop the bumper down to put them on....

I just have a 35d on order and like to know if it's possible to change the marker on the driver side? I know there is a mash window which could be removed. Is this enough to give access to the marker? Would be nice to know what I have to remove and if you applied heat from the outside? Let me know maybe with a picture. Thanks much |

I have SG on order and I'm loving your mods. Do you have more shots from a distance?

Sorry for the late response. I don't have the X5 anymore, sold it earlier this year.
There is a way to get your hand in there to swap em out, but it's a pain, and it'll scratch the hell out of your hand. Your hand will heal, so it's worth it to make the X look better Good luck. |
