Where can I purchase rear designation number?
Does anyone know where can I buy the rear designation number? Eg instead of 320i, I can change it to 335i.

Ooooh you're just asking for it..... But if you're serious, you could always enquire at your local dealer or check ebay.

are you trying to rebadge your car?
best place is ebay, if not the dealer will problably have some of those badges. i wouldn't rec doing though if i were you, no reason to try to trick people into beleiving you have some car that you don't. I don't want to see some civic make a thread saying he just beat a 335 turbo now heh |

grab some dental floss and find a parked car with the badges u want and steal!...
JK ebay has them, i posted a thread the other day to try and find white badges to match the alpine white but no luck so im going to spray paint them. And if you are seriously thinking of slapping a 335i badge on ur 320d, why dont you get an AMG badge from the boys over at mercedes then people think your riding in a rocket ship! |

*resisting urge to flame*
If you really do wanna go through with it, a fair warning.... Some of the badges on e-bay are pretty cheap i would just go through your dealer, or if you know someone at a body shop for instance they could get them for you so atleast you know your getting OEM. Thats just how i feel though. |

don't overbadge your car... debadging is questionable, but can be ok. don't pretend...
dont make your car a 340 just because you tuned your 335... if you want, debagde, fine! but don't just outright lie... that's so poser Last edited by MichaelATL; 01-10-2007 at 03:46 PM.. |

here we go again, there's nothing wrong with debadging, its a personal preference just like boxers vs briefs, blondes vs brunettes, natural vs silicones etc etc ...

debadging is fine... if i heavily modified my car i'd think about it... i will not overbadge though. "340tt" or something would be tempting with xede and quad free flow exhaust but nerdy... (tt = twin turbo) anyways just don't fake your car model debadge if you like. |

I've actually been looking to take off 335i, and just put a badge that reads "biturbo"

Okay After reading the opinions from you guys, I decided to debadge. No point trying to tell other I am driving 335 while it is originally 320, someone would be able to tell by the fact I have no idrive, 16 alloy, single muffler at the back, black grille etc
Thank you.
