I will probably be there with some of the guys from a Silverado SS forum I belong to. It will be nice to see some BMW's down there. I saw a Gallardo done there in November.

For people interested in going, I would plan on being there at 5:00 to 5:15 am to make sure you get in.

Chino Hills/Diamond Bar off the 60. Don't plan around me though, I'll just try to meet up with you guys if I go. I just might be in vegas for the avn awards instead.

If you guys are all 335s and m3s, I just might have the slowest car of the group with a 6-speed 545i. If I do make the caravan, maybe we could do some highway runs along the way.

from my experience with street legals is you need to get there before 6am because the line is SOOOOOOOOO long and takes for ever to get in.
Very true. My friends and I meet up at the local spot around 5AM to head down there. They have a certain number before they close the gate and turn cars away.
Have fun and be safe, guys.

It probably won't be hot now, but in the summer, if you plan to go, bring coolers with drinks in it.

I remember the first day Fontana opened back in 2000 I think. There we sooooo many cars. I think I got 2 runs the whole day. I showed up at 4am and there were 300 cars ahead of me. I doubt it will be this bad, however.

I will join you guys on the next trip. I don't move back to SoCal until February 6th...just in time to pick up my 335 and get my XEDE install on February 10th!

Have fun and be safe.

I'm in!!!

Good news is that even though Fontana is 1100' above sea level, the adjusted altitude should be damn near sea level because the high temp that day is only 58 degrees!!! And the humidity should be low as well. Should be nice and cool for us, great conditions and possibly a slight tailwind.

The 335I's could pick up some great times, FI cars actually do well at Fontana.

Charlie where are you guys meeting? I'm in Burbank so I'll probably just meet you there at the gates, get in line, etc.

If anyone is leaving from the valley or LA let me know I'll caravan up with you. Should be a good day, as long as the wind is at our backs.

No that was at Sacramento, right around sea level.
