FS: Set of Bridgestone Turanza EL42 RFT w/ ~9k miles
Anyone interested in a set of 245/45/17 Bridgestone Turanza EL42 RFT. These tires have about 9k miles on them. I'd say about 70% tread left.
I'll be posting pictures as soon. |

Are you in a hurry to get these? The reason I ask is that I would like to get some winter tires mounted when I get the rft dismounted. I can get my winters ordered and mounted witin the next couple of weeks. If you can wait I can commit to selling these to you. Let me know.

From where will you be ordering your winter tires? I bought my 2011 335xi Coupe with 18" wheels in May. I need to buy winter tires, but am not having luck finding guidance on what I should purchase.

I was hoping to find some used winter tires in the Boston area with lots of tread left. Almost had a deal done but the tires were sold before I could go see them.
Tire rack has some good deals on winter tires so I may just order some new ones from them. Here is my top three: 1. Conti ExtremeWinterContact - This is a true snow tire but also has good dry traction. I hear its a good compromise between something like the studdless snow tire Blizzak WS-70 and a Performance winter tire like the Michelin Pilot Alpin. 2. Dunlop Winter Sport 3D - This is a performance winter tire, so not the best deep snow traction but a good compromise between snow, wet, and dry traction. 3. General Ultimax Arctic - This is suppose to be a great snow tire. Considering the price. Others to consider but are more pricey are the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 and WS-70 or the Michelin Alpins or X-Ice. I'm hoping to get a cheap set locally and will be keeping my eyes open. If push comes to shove I'll probably be ordering the Continentals from TireRack.. |

Looks like I may have found my winter tires. Michelin pilot Alpins. These need to be shipped from BC and the deal is not final. But if it goes through I'll have the RFTs ready for you in a couple of weeks. Let me know if you are still interested.

Yep. I have a verbal agreement with a seller in NYC. Emailed the seller today and was informed that the tires will not be shipped until Monday. So earliest eta will be late next week for pickup. If this changes I'll update you.

Still available? My two rear tires have a small leak so I would like to replace them.
