Will E92 N54 exhaust fit on new E92 N55?
I know my DPs logically will not fit, but how about my exhaust? Just need to find out so I know whether or not to put it up for sale. Thanks!

you can keep everything that isn't connected the engine (exhaust is connected to the dp but the dp are different)

how could you keep the same exhaust? I can understand that they might have the same hangers in the back and mid section, but what about connecting to the downpipe(s)
I haven't looked under a n55 but it's a single turbo correct? That would mean Single down pipe. Wouldn't you need to fabricate a y pipe to connect your two mid-pipes to the single downpipe?

Thats what you have to do to make it work or thats what is stock on an N55 car? They have the exact same mating surfaces to the mid pipes as an n55? My only surprise is that nothing is ever THAT easy.... almost too good to be true.

Thats what a stock n55 is its a single downpipe from the turbo that branches into two pipes.

See my thread below. N54 exhaust DOES fit N55.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=420907 The downpipe flange on the N54 and the N55 are exactly the same. |
