CDV laying around?

Hey guys,
Do any of you have their stock CDV laying around? Wanna sell it? It's time for me to get a CDV delete, I am sick of the way the car shifts right now, way too clunky... and delayed.

Let me know if you have yours and what conditions it's in.

Thanks!

-Walter

Got mine...in good condition as far as I can tell. Why do you want another stocker if your still running yours?

Thanks! I wanted to pop the restriction from the valve and swap it with mine. Is that not the recommended way?

Just removed mine altogether and seems to be fine.

I have a motive pressure bleeder if you want to borrow it. You might not have to use it, but after my experience with the CDV, you are going to want it just in case!

I concur and have one as well. Even if it is not used, it is nice insurance to have.

You guys are awesome, thanks!

So Steve... when can I pay you a visit?

I need to change my oil and will soon be getting a PROcede, so we could have a oil change/CDV/tune party. I got the oil change and tune install under control, but I would rather get help with the CDV just in case. Thanks!

I believe you man... I've bled plenty of clutches/brakes on my other cars and on the Duc, but I am not taking chances with the bimmer.

Walter have you talked to Cicio and driven the 1er? I was really impressed by that flash tune... it was way smoother than Dalton's Procede tuned car. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for though. Probably worth an excuse for a test drive though...

Thanks for the suggestion man. The PROcede has come a long way since that test drive we had in Dalton's car 5 or so months ago. Either way, while I prefer the cleanliness of flash tunes, I must say that the PROcede just looks too good right now and Autotuning seems to be working amazingly well. I am pretty much set on the PROcede, but I am open to flash tunes if and when they will become user-flashable @ home.

What about you... still undecided? I feel your pain.

To be hjonest, now that I have money to spend I'm more confused than I was before. I have a few HPDE's coming up that I'll be running in so I've just been worrying about tires, pads, etc. I dont think I'll be really modding my 3er any more. I'm starting to think the best route would be to pick up a track car in the next few months. It's a little too risky for me to get out on the track as often as I have planned with my daily driver. I'd be screwed if I crashed since I'm working on a project in Charlotte, NC and have to commute every week. So that's kinda where I'm standing.

Just about anytime soon. I am available the remainder of this week during the evenings including Friday. Saturday and Sunday day time is currently open until Jennifer tells me otherwise. Next week, only Monday is available as Tuesday is my 40th birthday (scary, I know. To make it even scarier, Jennifer and I have been together for twenty years as of this last August 11th, yes, I was 19 at the time).

I have a trip Wednesday night and back Thursday evening. But then fairly open on the weekend. However, the following week I am back down in south Florida for the week. Back to some cooler and nicer weather as suprising as that is.

So, just let me know. I need to change my oil also as well as changing my spark plugs so it could be a big maintenence fest...

And BTW, I located my orphaned CDV as it has been locked away in a box, on a shelf, for over three years. I also found my power bleeder in the basement, so all is available.

Ok I want in on this pow wow!! I'm doing a track day next week and need to get the oil changed, pads changed, and AMS fmic installed....all sitting on my garage floor. Problem is I picked up some extra work to pay for all this stuff and can't seem to find time to do it.....
Just talked to my better half and I'm FREE sat 8/21 until about 1600. Any chance this works for anyone else?

I am good for then. We (the entire family) are going out with some friends that evening but am open prior. Looks like we could do an assembly line for oil changes. Heck, my wifes minivan needs one as well.

Walter, you coming up this way again on Saturday morning?

Hey Steve! Yes, I'll be driving up on Saturday for training and could possibly make it on Sunday morning for the oil-change fest, it all depends on whether or not I get the magnetic oil drain plug I ordered today in the mail. What about the oil filter... do you guys pick it up locally or through Tischer?

Matt: I am selling my Talon TSi AWD (Eclipse GSX) if you're looking for a track car. She's already built and ready to go, all she needs is a loving new owner and some TLC. Let me know, I am letting her go for 1/3 of the value of the mods alone.

Ciao,

-Walter

Perhaps Sunday morning would be better; before the heat really builds...

Walter, we can wait to see if the drain plugs comes in.

Hey guys,

I don't really have plans for Saturday so I may come hang out if you guys do meet up... assuming you don't mind more company.

Thanks Steve, I am down to come by on Sunday morning while the oven is still on pre-heat.

The drain plug should be here tomorrow! What about filter and oil Steve? I know I can pick up the oil @ Walmart, but where do you get your filter from? I've been getting mine online, I don't even know what the dealer wants for one.
