Saw this the other day and my jaw dropped

I was returning to BMW Peabody in a loaner car ('09 E92 328i), as mine was having some maintenance done as well as having the engine looked at. I was getting onto 93 and was behind this car:

Why yes, that is a black and orange Mazda Protege with the 4-ring Audi badge instead of the Mazda "M". You are also not mistaken - that is in fact an "S5" badge in the lower left corner.

Are you sure that's not a Mazda Protege? Not every ricer is a Honda.

I think you are correct. I did a Google image search on "Mazda Protege rear" and it matches the shape of the back of that car.

It initially struck me as looking like the rear of a Honda Civic, but that little lip at the top of the trunk was throwing me off. I have corrected my original post. Thanks :-)

That's hilarious! I know exactly where that entrance ramp is on Mystic Valley Parkway! I often wonder what people are thinking...Hey, at least we were spared this time from having our badge and an //M logo on it!

Definitely a Protege. And wow, just wow. That's one of the worst I've seen.

I actually saw this car again the other day on 28N right next to Station Landing in Medford. It was a couple cars ahead of me. I tried to take a picture, but it "zoom-zoomed" before I could snap one. Must've been that "S5" engine.

I'm hoping it's a local car (Medford, Somerville, Everett), as I'd love to ask the driver, "What the hell were you thinking?"

That's hilarious...I wonder if it gets to a point where you hate your car so much, you just think of the worst possible things to do to it

Yeah, pretty awful, but doesn't come as a surprise to me...hence the sign all the way to the right above the pickup truck that starts with the word "Entering"....that explains a lot.
