Larger Wheel/Tire for 09 X3
My daughter wants to go to 20's on her X3. Truck currently has OEM 235/50x18's all around. According to my calculator 255/35x20 is the closest in diameter. Anybody running this size? Any issues (besides ride comfort)? I may try and talk her into 245/40/20. What offset are you guys running with a 9" rim
Any thoughts are appreciated Bill |

245/40R20 is the wrong size and the little bit of sidewall that you would be gaining won't make any difference at all. You can run a 9" rim in the front and a 10" rim in the rear. 19" wheels will be easier to find. 20" wheels mean you need to step up to the expensive (reputable) brands to make sure that the width, offset and backspacing will fit.
Front - 235/45R19 or 255/40R19 Rear - 255/40R19 Front - 255/35R20 Rear - 255/35R20 or 285/30R20 Any reason she wants 20" wheels? Do you think that she would notice the extra 1" of diameter over 19" wheels or does she just want to be rolling on DUBS?
