I bought an iPhone 4 today and it charges with the Y cable and Bluetooth transfers phone book and connects first time. It performs better than the iPhone 3GS which didn't charge when connected to the Y cable. Very pleased!

No. You may be able to modify the cradle but I don't use it because the iphone charges using the 'Y' cable. I bought the cradle because my iphone 3Gs wouldnt charge in the M3
