335D gear ratios
Bit sad but I worked out the MPH/Thousand rev in each of the 6 gears on a 335d 6 speed auto..and speed at the max power point (4,400) & max revs (5,000).
so in each gear change (@ 4,800) drops to the figures below but of course the mighty vat of torque just helps to wind the needle clockwise again.. 1st to 2nd 2,700 2ns to 3rd 3,125 3rd to 4th 3,600 4th to 5th 3,640 5th to 6th 3,825 if you want to watch this in action have a look on www.Youtube.com and search for 335D. 0-100 seems to be about 13 seconds...similar to a E46 M3?

Forgive me for asking... but did you use the transmission ratio figures quoted in the brochure for working this out? Just curious!
