Definitely not for me either.
The flatness of the ribs will definitely make it Lincoln/Merc-like.

Still, out of curiousity, I'd really like to see them on someone's car...anyone except my own...

Honestly I think it is a bad idea, they will look like a lincoln or even worst like a mercury.
