itunes Library to BMW F10 HDD?

I want to use my USB stick to get my music from itunes on my Harddrive in the Car.

I Created a folder on my usb stick and put al my music on it.

Then i put my usb stick in the car and let it save al the music to the hard drive.

But when it finshed i just had the folder on my car that was on my usb and al my songs in that folder which is very irritating becouse i now have 1 folder/album with a few thousend songs.

I want to see al my albums sorted but how do i do this?

Is the only way to do this like making a folder for example called Eminem and than make a folder in that folder with al the albums and put the songs from those albums in the folders?

So you end up somthing like this on your usb stick and than do this for every artist?:

Eminem

(inside eminem folder

Encore (inside Encore Folder all songs from Encore)
Recovery (inside Recovery folder all songs from Recovery)

Is this the only way or is there an better and faster one?

You seem to be viewing it by Folder. You can search for Music by Artist or Album or both on the iDrive interface. At least you can in the U.S. version. It won't matter how the data is organized on the hard drive, you search by song meta-data. Unless the meta-data isn't set on your music files. Then that might not work.

Do you have the USB port in the center console (6FL option)? You can just plug the flash drive into that and stream the music off of it. No reason to copy it to the car's hard drive.
