Tints?
Hey guys, I had a question about tint shops around Glendale/Burbank areas. I have an appointment with Megaplex on Western/San Fernando Saturday morning. They did my tints for my 330ci and they did an EXCELLENT job. They charged me $170 last time and this time I told them to give me some kind of deal.. and they wouldn't even go down $10 (they said the prices went up to $180 now). So I'm kinda pissed.. do you guys know any other great tint shop I can take it to for cheaper? Am I actually getting a pretty good deal here? Thanks!

sorry, but you're tripping off of $10? if they did an excellent job last time, then paying an extra $10 is nothing to complain about. things change.

hey chrisps... try california tint on san gabriel blvd in the temple city area... i've had friends get theirs done there for 130-140 on a 2 door and they have no complaints (granted these are nissans and hondas)...
if you get someone else to go w/u... they'll knock off like 10 bucks on both pricetags... i plan on taking my car there once i take delivery... good luck. try calling for a price quote, prices may have gone up but i doubt it. |

$180 is a bargain. We're almost paying double over here. Recommend you go for the sure thing...and pay the man.

Good deal! Do you have any issues with the quality of work that was done though? According to l4wr3nc3, two of his friends had bad results, but I've never heard anything bad about them. To l4wr3nc3, what kind of cars do your friends drive? Just trying to paint a complete picture here... thanks for the info! |

Noooo I wasn't saying I'm not going just for $10.. I'm saying I was once their customer and they bumped up the price even though I went there and paid them $170 before.. It's not the money, it's the principle. I can care less about the $10.. hell, I can care less if it was $50 cheaper. It just sucks cuz they always give people breaks if they go there more than once and just because I'm a girl they think they can rip me off. Also, I didn't know I was getting a good bargain, which is why I came here to ask you guys your opinions!
