Tints?

Hey guys, I had a question about tint shops around Glendale/Burbank areas. I have an appointment with Megaplex on Western/San Fernando Saturday morning. They did my tints for my 330ci and they did an EXCELLENT job. They charged me $170 last time and this time I told them to give me some kind of deal.. and they wouldn't even go down $10 (they said the prices went up to $180 now). So I'm kinda pissed.. do you guys know any other great tint shop I can take it to for cheaper? Am I actually getting a pretty good deal here? Thanks!

sorry, but you're tripping off of $10? if they did an excellent job last time, then paying an extra $10 is nothing to complain about. things change.

hey chrisps... try california tint on san gabriel blvd in the temple city area... i've had friends get theirs done there for 130-140 on a 2 door and they have no complaints (granted these are nissans and hondas)...

if you get someone else to go w/u... they'll knock off like 10 bucks on both pricetags... i plan on taking my car there once i take delivery... good luck.

try calling for a price quote, prices may have gone up but i doubt it.

i had 2 friends go their and the tint turned out pretty terrible. I've never gone their myself so i can't give much input on them. But its like shragon said, its only $10. And if they did a great job last time, its definetly worth the extra $10. Its not like $180 is a rip-off. It may not be cheap, but its definetly not expensive

first you get what you pay for, second $170 for tint that is an absolute bargin. if you want quality work it is twice that.

take that $170 to the russian roulette table at morongo/pechanga and bet on BLACK.....

after you win.......you can tip the tint man $20........total: $200

what a bargain!

and you still have a $140 to party with..............

$180 is a bargain. We're almost paying double over here. Recommend you go for the sure thing...and pay the man.

Good deal! Do you have any issues with the quality of work that was done though? According to l4wr3nc3, two of his friends had bad results, but I've never heard anything bad about them.

To l4wr3nc3, what kind of cars do your friends drive? Just trying to paint a complete picture here...

thanks for the info!

Noooo I wasn't saying I'm not going just for $10.. I'm saying I was once their customer and they bumped up the price even though I went there and paid them $170 before.. It's not the money, it's the principle. I can care less about the $10.. hell, I can care less if it was $50 cheaper. It just sucks cuz they always give people breaks if they go there more than once and just because I'm a girl they think they can rip me off. Also, I didn't know I was getting a good bargain, which is why I came here to ask you guys your opinions!
