what the hell is this noise.. hope its not brake-related..

The symptom happens at a random rate, but I can say this. 80% of the times, it happens when I tap on the brake lightly, I hear this metal-to-metal "screeching" noise. It is VERY annoying. One of those sounds you would hear from an old car.

I'm not sure if it's the brakes or a suspension component that is going bad. I only hear it from passenger's side front wheel. When I turn right(weight on driver's side), it also makes the noise. Thought it could be the shocks, but no luck.

What do you guys think? I thought about taking it to local Midas or something.

Your brakes could be low, or their glazed and need to be serviced. When was your last brake job?

I remember i heard the same noise one day a few times then i did a hard stop and it was gone
