Oil Cooler!!!

I have a 2007 E92 non-sport package. I bought it last week @ 64000kilometers. And I just found out it didn't come with the Oil Cooler. Now it makes me worry that the life of my engine wont last long. Any inputs on this??

And also I'm thinking of getting a JB3 Processor. I would love to have extra 80+ hp! But now that i found out that my car doesn't have an oil cooler, I dont know if it can handle all the heat its gonna create in the engine with the JB3 installed.

thanks.

I would say, get the JB3, use it and see how much your oil temps go up...I have the PROcede and my temps don't go higher than 250 F...Prior to the PROcede, I was at about 240 F...Keep in mind, I don't track my car so these temps are under normal to spirited driving...There are tons of oil coolers out there if you need it...

I don't have the oil cooler either and my average temps in the summer here in DC are around 250 and will go up to 260-270 with spirited driving. It comes back down to 250 pretty quickly thought.

Go with the Procede if you are worried about oil temps, it will phase out boost at high temps; I believe above 270.

I don't have an O/C and I never experience high temps. Trust me I drive the shit out of mine. Just went on a 300 mile trip through Tail of the Dragon and The App. Parkway oil temps were steady right past the middle.

BTW I change my oil every 6k with BMW Syn.
