BMW F10 5-Series meets Mr. Hartge

It seems the big tuner hauses in Germany have been increasingly in a rush to get their work on the newest BMWs out into the wild. The pattern for the last year or two has been that the tried and true wheels from each of these companies first appears on the car and is paraded around the internet while the company continues its work on the interior/engine and exterior styling parts, which would be revealed at a later date. And so, here is Hartge with their aptly named "Classic" set of wheels on the BMW 5-Series Sedan. Hartge "Classic" (Classic 1-3) wheels will be available ranging in sizes from 18-20" (20" pictured).

If that thing is so fugly to you, what are you doing hanging around in the F10 section?

The car doesn't sit higher when you put on 20 inch wheels. The tyre side profile is lower so the diameter of the wheel stays the same.

Exactly.

The car looks alright with those 20"alloys imo.

car sits fine and looks good, just the wheel design is what I'm not fond of, but i'm sure others out there like it.

Exactly. It's a great looking wheel, and the car can pull of 20" - just barely - but that's almost certainly a performance-degrading wheel. So... fail.
