Confused About 330 production

Apologies in advance for the questions I have, but I'm still a bit confused about the some of the new 3 series coming out. Alright, so the '06 sedans are arriving at dealerships right now and these are the E90's. So...........

1)The '06 coupes won't begin production until September and will arrive in dealerships at the end of the year and these are still going to be E46's?

2) These '06 coupes will still be 225 HP and not 255 HP?

3) The E92 coupes will be an '07 model year and therefore won't be out for another year in late '06?

4) So there could be as much as a year and a half between the release of the E90 and the E92?

5) Are there any differences between the '05 and '06 coupe?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions,
Prolix

The e46 is the current crop of 3 series not the new. The coupe will not be coming out until sometime next year, NOT this fall. The 325xi, 330xi, and the 3 series wagons will arrive this fall beginning with September production. There isn't a '06 coupe yet, only '05. The '06 will probably be a short year of the current vehicle (e46) with the new '07 coming online in late spring of '06.

I know the '07 coupe will not be coming out this year, how could it since the '06 isn't even out yet?

The '06 would have to be a VERY short year for the '07 to come out in late spring of '06. It is my understanding that the '06 coupes don't even begin production until September of this year, along with the 325xi, 330xi, and the 3 series wagons that you mentioned. That would have the '06 coupes arriving at dealerships by the end of this year, with '07's arriving just 5 or 6 months later? Has BMW ever released successive model years only 5 or 6 months apart?

I believe the transition from the E39 to the E60 was like that. Also, the E46 sedan to the E60 sedan could be thought of that way.
