328xi Lease deal / Open Road BMW sucks

After a rough time with a RWD BMW in the snow, I decided to look at maybe getting a 328xi instead. So I went to the local BMW centre, Open Road BMW where I bought my 323i [ Nice but stupid CA's at this place ] They offered me $28000 for a mint, 6 month old 323i (Premium/Auto) with 8000 kms. Auto Trader has every 323i listed from 34k up to 39k for 323's.

Anyways, for the lease, they want 795.72 a month tax i for a 328xi with Metallic/Auto/Sunroof. $47500

6.9% x 36 months (20k year), 0 down, residual-30,400 ;monthly payment 698 + tax = 795.72

+++++

PDI - 1295
freight - 600
Admin - 299
gas tax - 75
ppsa - 44.88
GST - 138.83
PST - 181.52
Fuel - 50
Licence fee - 20
1st payment - 795.72
Security deposit - 800
TOTAL: 4299.95!!!!

This is of couse at full retail but what are other deals people getting in the TO Area? I find this lease ridiculous!

mhaw, forgive me if this is a stupid question, but you've got snow tires on your 323i, right?

Looking around for the best deal on snow tires? I just put my snow shoes on last week but have already had the opportunity to drive in some snow. The difference is night and day between the summers and snows.

I'd say get some good snows and keep the 323i. Good luck!

You can get W300's for under $600; I think that's a wiser financial decision.

Sounds like they're trying to take advantage of your desire to get out of an old car and into a new car. They're giving you too little on your trade in, and charging you for the gas in the car!?

They'll negotiate more when they see that your serious. You should be able to get anywhere between 2-4% off the top of a new car (I got 3.5% off), and better value for your 323, and no fuel charge! Do your test drives, sit down and be firm, otherwise just go to another dealer and repeat the process.

The used car market it flooded, so it's tough to squeeze a dealer. If you can do it and you don't mind taking the risk, buy a new car and sell yours by undercutting the current offerings on autotrader. Might work

Or, just buy snows as others have suggested and save up for your next bimmer in a few years. I don't see too many xi models out there, doesn't seem like it's really necessary, IMO.

try tirewerkes.com

they are local and can find anything you want...the price you are quoted is the price you pay...not shipping, customs, whatever
