did you try pressing the DTC button for 5 secs? A single push doesn't disengage traction control completely, it simply turns on DTC (partial traction control)

even if the DSC/DTC is fully disabled (by pressin the dtc button down for about 5 seconds until you get the warning light) the car won't let you do a burn out because of after holding down the brake and accelerator pedal at the same time the car cuts the power assuming the accelerator is stuck.

so yeah, no burnouts. do donuts instead

Push the gas pedal down further, even when you feel it hit the floor, just keep pressing down as hard as you can for at least 2 or 3 minutes.

Just funnin' ya! Back in high school guys would fit 'line locks' to the front brake lines.

Basic procedure was to apply the brakes hard, flip the line locks to keep the front brakes applied, release the pedal, and give 'er.

Then we grew up.

Enjoy your car and stay safe!

Hmm that second one was a good lesson. It seems if you lay down under your car, it will prevent it from moving forward, even with the accelerator fully engaged.

Excellent safety info! So for all you guys that have a bad parking brake, just lay down under the car! Or find a girlfriend that is will to do so.

Just turn off all traction control and you should be good to go.

If you can't search or RTFM, you're not intelligent or mature enough to be doing burnouts.
