Swirl Marks on Dark Burlwood Trim?!!?
I just picked up my car from a ED return and the wood trim inside has a horrible amount of swirl marks! You can almost feel the swirls as your touching the trim, it looks ridiculous in bright sun, is there a polish that I can use to rub out the swirls, or should I just bring it back to the dealer hoping for a miraculous buff from them?

Take it back to the dealer and if they muck it up trying to polish it out they can supply new trim.

Try a polish that is safe for your paint.

bump.
i have the same problem. not as bad as you can feel the swirl marks with your fingers, but you can see it when the sunlight hits the wood. it's my fault for letting the car wash place touch my interior, albeit it was a $30 hand wash. so any other suggestions besides "pledge"? |

Look. Get some painters tape or even some masking tape. Tape off all the plastic around the trim and try to use a swirlmark remover designed for paint.
You can pick up some Meguiar's ScratchX just about anywhere. Its a pretty light polish so should be safe and mistake proof. |
