20" Forgery
Finally made a leap into the after market wheel arena for the ///M. Thanks to a fellow Forum member for the opportunity to fit some awesome wheels that seem to be pretty rare if non existent in Australia.
I also got a couple of goodies from Turner Motor Sport in the US and installed them last night also. I'll try and get some better shots over the weekend. |

Our cars are lookalike twins...I have black HRE P40's and the black front grille also. From a few metres back you wouldn't tell the difference. I love the black/white theme.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I think I have seen those wheels before! Look good a white M3. Don't forget to redo the rear camber, the rear on the M3 has plenty of adjustment in it.

AlpineM3E92, how do find the handling with the 20's, also have you noticed that you can get alot more power to the ground now with softer & wider PZero's!

The only issue is they scrub on the inner guard on both fronst when turning slow and the rears whenever you hit a dip or subsidence in the road at any speed (with just me in the car). Will have to look at the camber adjustment soon, spoke to the local dealer's "head technician" but he seemed to be a bit of a waste of time with E92s. Will try a suspension specialist that know his stuff. I do note that the depth of the rear wheels, the thickness of the centre where the wheel nuts go in, is a lot thinner than the fronts which leads me to beleive that the wheels can not be machined to reduce their offsets. Anyway, not much I can do except look at the camber or have the rear guards flared, because at the moment they actually do protrude from the guards so am just waiting to get done by the cops cause the car is almost an every day driver. |

Maybe the vert is different in the rear, the boot is anyway. Just get the rear wheels adjusted with negative camber so the top of the wweels lean in a fraction, then as the rear bumps the tyres will not hit the gaurds.
