How to remove front seat cushion?

Has anyone done this? I want to swap out my driver seat cushion for the passenger seat cushion. The driver seat has a deep crease that is getting worse as I sit on it.

I want to swap it to give it some time to reshape. I've used leather conditioner to treat the cushion but it isn't helping so hence this idea.

Thx in advance!

in order for you to take out the seatcushion, you have to take out the back support 1st. but its not possible to swap driver to passenger side because passenger side uses oc3 mats, and will trigger airbag light on. i have done this before by accident (put passenger on driver not knowing, after putting everything back together, airbag light will stay on and have faults for seat occupancy detection.came to find out, the driver seat had the passenger seatmat on) so the only thing you can do is buy replacement leather piece for your driver seat, remove the seat cushion, the leather is held by about 20 hugrings on to the actual cushion foams.. you have to cut them out and put the new leather on with new hugrings

thats bad news. i wonder if i can take it to my dealer and claim it under premature wear. my car has 12K miles, i wonder what the seats will look like in 50K.

I'll ask the obvious question -- is it impossible to swap the airbag occupancy sensor mats?

no and they sell the mat separate which is handy if you want to retrofit some buckets to have it work as advertised.

You do need to take the cushion apart though
