Installation hours quoted to install these mods.....
I am researching shops to install the below mods. How many installation hours was everyone quoted to have these mods installed? If you installed yourself, what seems reasonable?
FYI... I have an '07 e92. FMIC Oil Cooler (Retrofit kit) Meth Kit (Trunk Mount) Downpipes Catback Exhaust Charge Pipe Thanks for everyone's input. |

FMIC and chargepipe you can def do yourself and if you are good with wiring you can do the meth kit.

+1 charge pipe and FMIC is easy on a 1-10 both are about a 4. as for the others Oil cooler= 3 hours Meth kit= 3 hours downpipes= 3 hours This is based off of someone who knows what their doing and a good shop would prolly be about $90 and hour so your looking at about $800 worth of installation.

Drive down to Killeen, save yourself alot of money and let me install it and you won't pay anywhere close to $500 lol. Send me a pm if you want to do it.

meth kits are not that difficult once you know what you're doing... I would put it slightly more difficult than a DCI once you do it the first time. If you do it a certain way, you won't even need a ramp.

I would suggest doing everything yourself as these are all easy mods but I will answer your quesion also
FMIC (1 or less) Oil Cooler (Retrofit kit) (1-2) Meth Kit (Trunk Mount) (2-6 depends on how you want it hooked up) Downpipes (a good shop should be able to do it in 2 hr max) Catback Exhaust (30 min) Charge Pipe (30 or less) So I would say anywhere between 7hr to 12 hr so based on a rate of 90 hr it would be $720 - $1080. |

terrance can help with the meth, so you might as well save the charge pipe install with the meth install.
fmic, maybe (3 to 4 hr if it's ur first time) dp's get someone else to install them, PITA if you don't have a lift. (3 to 4 hrs if it's ur first time) exhaust, might as well switch it when you get the dp's on so the line up flush, when I self installed my vanguard cat back exhaust, I had to re rotate the dp so all pipes fit flush.
