Those who have recoded from L7 to HiFi

Can you remove the L7 amp, or does its absence from the CAN bus throw an error code?

TIA.

You need to get a termination loop for the MOST (there's no CAN copper line in the OEM amp) or the loop will be broken if you physically remove the OEM amp.

so, presumably then the L7 amp can go away if a motuslab piece is there?

It has to go away... the MotusLab/mObridge devices replace the OEM amp.

If you want to be really technical, you can add the Motuslab/mObridge device to your MOST ring with extra fiber cables/connectors and leave the OEM amp in the ring with the speaker connectors unplugged... but then, why?
