It's slightly modded but appears to be well kept. Has anyone seen it getting thrashed on the track, or anywhere for that matter?

I would look to see if the car even has a warranty remaining. If he ever took that in with those mods, its gone (and the price should reflect). It is a very low mileage '07, but yeah, he has probably driven it hard as hell...
It seems like he is seeking a return on the performance mods and you aren't really going to get that back by adding to the price of a car that probably has no warranty left... I would find a stock one and do the modding myself

Dude,
If you don't mind picking your new car up near Atlanta I can hook you up with my friend. He'll sell you a brand new Bimmer for invoice with no Maco fee including full tank and floor mats. No tricks, no bs, he hooks up all the referrals sent to him because it's an extra car at the end of the month. Do everything via email and go there to pick up the car... as simple as that. It will be very hard to get a bimmer close to invoice at any other dealer and you will be charged Maco fee anywhere else (~500)... this is an excellent deal. Get the car new! PM me if you want to get in touch with the guy. Good luck, -Walter

I know I haven't been a bimmer owner for that long but I'm considering selling mine. With being in grad school, I need to free up some money so if you are down in Atlanta looking I'm testing the water with mine.

The mods add $0 to the wholesale value of the car and probably make the car less desirable to most buyers (because of potential mechanical problems due to drivetrain overtorque, higher engine operating temperatures, excessive turbo boost/RPMs, etc.). The trade-in (wholesale) value of a 2007 E90 (Sedan) 335i with 6MT, Sport Package, leather trim (Premium Package), iDrive/Navigation, and 20k miles is: $23,600. If the car is in perfect (market ready) condition it’s worth $25,050. $23,000 is probably the MOST the owner will get on a trade, so he’ll probably be happy to get a few thousand more than that. I’d stay away from this car due to the mods though…

His warranty is probably already be voided and that might be why he is selling the car. |
