Paint Decision - AW or SG ?

Ahh, I'm trading in the 330i for a 6mt 335i but I can't decide. Alpine White or Space Grey?

What are your personal opinions?

just saying, choose the color that YOU like the most, don't be a sheep!

AW!! Easy to clean and looks great. The Space Grey IMO is like all silver BMW, alot of people have them. Start paying attention and see how many you see on the road.

No

So, I have Sparkling graphite and it's gorgeous. However there are downsides to it:
1) Shows fine scratches easily
2) Slightly Purple in direct sunlight

Alpine White:
1) Stays Clean
2) Doesn't show scratches
3) Good for being seen on the road

Space Grey:
1) Has that sexy Grey look
2) Goes with anything.
3) Shows lines more
4) Gets a deep shine

Who cares about staying clean? I made mistake because of that idea and didn't get Black. Be honest, bimmer looks best in Black. My next one will be black. I don't care if I need to wash it every 3 days.

Personally... I don't think luxury cars should be light colors. You drive cars like this usually at night to black tie events. The darker the color the better.

So out of the choices, I'd go with Space Gray.

I ordered my 335i with Sparkling Graphite because my last car was black (Lexus ES300 two-tone with gray actually). And as nice as it was clean, it was ridiculous how easy it was to spot dirt on it.

I see alot of silver on the road, but the space gray has a nice offset I like. It just wasn't dark enough for me.

Was debating between the same 2 colors...
Ended up ordering Alpine White.
Way too many Space Grey's on the road.

you don't even need to pay attention to them, you miss one, then there comes another one~ LOL that's how many~

but again, the more the colour, it just means the more popular the colour is, which in another way means it's a gorgeous colour that everyone likes~

i got a Gray silver car already, i want to change~ so AW for me~!!!:rocks:

The guy asked for AW or SG - how hard is it for you guys to pick one instead of suggesting a third color???

I choose AW, very nice color, especially at night, it glows!

Alpine White, my current car is gray and I miss white. Black sucks, as maintenance is more than just washing. Not only does black get dirty, but shows spidering, scratches and dents very easily. Black is *blah*.

Cheers,

Chuck
