Tints and remote signal ??

Just recently got my windows tinted, I know there was some discussion about problems with certain tint and the comfort access but I do not have that option. The range on the remote to unlock/lock the doors has dropped DRAMATICALLY, so much that I have to be pretty much within 10 feet of it to work. I didnt think the tints would have done this but apparently so, before them I used to be 30+ ft away and it would work... now no chance with that. Its not really a big issue, but sometimes I like to roll my windows down from a distance so its cool when I get there. Cant really do this now. Anyone else have these same problems?

Did a more in depth search and got some results, apparently ceramic tints are need to avoid this? Someone else said wait for them to dry and it should be ok... these tints are fresh so I guess I will wait and see.

you don't necessarily need a ceramic tint. to avoid any issues, it is best to just go with a tint that does not have any metal in it. That's what I did and I have no problems (and I have CA).
