06 330i in the shop...

took my car into the shop today to fix my exhaust side lifters (under warranty and I guess fairly common to what the SA said) Anyway the good news is the 09 535i loaner car.....I really really really want one.

What is this thing you are having done now? I ask because I have the same car.

Seems like the SA make everything sound like the problems are fairly common....

Was this for the engine ticking? Had mine done a few weeks ago...

So far the ticking hasn't returned...

I had some ticking every now and then and then it became more constant. After monitoring it for quite some time I finally got it fixed. She said it was the exhaust side lifters? Someone who knows more about cars might be able to tell me more?
