Manuell or Automatic gearbox?

Buying a 330i soon but can't decide what gearbox.
I've only driven the AT and I love it, first time in my life that I like a AT gearbox. All my life I've only driven cars with 6spd manuel gearboxes but when I test drove that 330iA I fell in love, the gearbox was fast and comfy.
I've called around whole Sweden trying to find a dealer that has a 330i with Manuell gearbox but no, they all got the iA (AT).

What do you think is the best for the 330i, the MA or AT?
Just wanted to hear some opinions.

Anyway, I tested the 325i with auto two months back and it was really very nice. Didn´t seem much slower regarding response time (if any) than the steptronic in the 335i.
I don´t think you could go wrong with the auto transmission in the 330i.

I don't know what you have been driving for a MT, but I am not impressed with the feel of the pedals or the shifter in the E90. The pedals feel numb, and the throw is way to long. The CDV feels strange to me, its kind of like BMW only makes the MT because they are expected to, they didn't bother to make it feel right.

Good point, I have driven much better MTs...
However, the MT always beats the AT, not matter if you live in LA or in North Canada...

The one thing that I have found now that I drive a manual (this is my first and I've had it now for a little over a year) is just how much easier it is to actually drive in the snow. With the ability to use the engine to slow the car down (when you lift off the gas) and down shift to slow without having to hit the brakes you have much more control over the car speed in the snow.

I had a recent experience (yesterday) when we started to get some snow around here and their wasn't salt on the roads yet (first snow in a while after a long heat wace). The snow started to compact and form "white ice". I was basicly driving down the road in 2nd using the gas only to control the speed of the car. When I had to stop and start again, using the clutch to control the torque of the take-off I got no wheel spin (and did not have the traction control kick in) when everyone else with an AT around was sliding sideways moving off of lights.

Just another positive of a manual that not too many people consider and something I don't think has been mentioned on the site before.
