Fogs.. H11 to 9006... HELP!

So I just finished installing my new front bumper but need help sorting out how to connect the new fogs since the bulbs are different. Can I just cut the H11 plug off, feed the wires into a 9006 plug, and call it good? If yes, is that plug universal such that I could hop down to an auto supply store and pick one up? Or is it more complicated than that? I have to ask cuz BMW always has a way of making things way more complex than they need to be.

Thanks

You can do a direct wire however you can also purchase a conversion harness.

You'll need is a pair of 9006 female connectors, wires, and taps for the conversion. I've done it for several local clients and it's very easy. If you need help with it just hit me up

So does that mean I can just cut off the H11 connectors, buy a pair of 9006 female connectors and install them? I guess I'm just confused where the "wires and taps" come into play... or rather, why they're necessary.

I did a quick search and found some generic connectors that I'll probly use unless anybody says I should different.

That's correct.. the wires coming from the 9006 females will need to attach to the OEM wiring. Soldering would be recommended but you'd need to figure out the +/- If you use the quick connect taps it would make the job easier. If you need me to assemble it for you then let me know. I can help

Nice. What fog bulbs are you running in that picture. The color match is perfect! And are those headlights HIDs or just regular halogens?

BMW supplies a oem conversion. It comes with the m tech retrofit kit. It's really easy to install...

Thanks, so far I only found this which is pricey. I just don't feel like splicing wires and what not.
