Koni Yellow Settings question(stock ZSP springs)

Hi guys, I've ordered Koni Yellows, and I will pair them with my stock 335I sport suspension springs. Is there anyone out there with this setup? If so could you let me know what I should set the shocks to before install. I use my car mostly for highway commuting, but I do go to the track on occation. After a lot of research online, I decided to go with the M5board guy's settings: 1/2 Turn each for rears, and 1/2 Turn each for fronts, with 3/4 Turn Fronts for track days.

1. I've found that other people's recommendation rarely ever works for my car and driving style. They're a good place to start, but I always end up fine-tuning and adjusting to what works for my driving style. So whatever I tell you here, ignore it.

2. BMW dampers are typically OVERDAMPED compared to the ideal spring rate, since the springs are progressive they tend to tune their shocks and struts for the higher end of the spring rate. At least that's what I've been told. So ideally, IF you get an adjustable damper to use for your stock springs, you are probably better off adjusting toward the SOFT end for street use. For track use it will depend heavily on the car set-up, but typically I start on the stiff side and then dial in some more grip to the end that looses it first. The system I'm riding on has linear springs with Koni Yellow shocks, and I usually set mine for 1/4 turn from full soft for use on street, and start the day at the track at 1/4 turn from full stiff and so far it's worked well.

Your mileage WILL vary.

Thank you so much sir, but I don't do the aftermarket spring thing. Too many bad experiences on previous cars.
