eurotrip: bmw factory/museum???
So i am heading on a month long adventure with a buddy all over Europe next month. I am thinking of hitting Israel, Amsterdam, Germany, Italy and Greece (so far). I know that there is a bmw museum/factory in Munich but was wondering if anyone on the forum has been? is it worth it? and what else would i want to do in Munich/Germany besides that? i would love to do a couple laps of the Nürburgring (a dream of mine) which i hear isnt too too far but dont have a car when im there ...any ideas/advice appreciated!

Wrong forum - but for what it's worth the factory and museum tours are excellent! I've been on the factory tour twice now, and I can say it's amazing. Close to Munich you have Salzburg to the South and Dachao to the North.. but very different but interesting places - lots of history to explore at both.

Did the factory tour/musem at my ED in march, and it was amazing. The factory tour is pretty much what you'd expect, the museum has pretty much every BMW ever built, and a bunch of concepts and a few race cars too.

There are car museums all over Germany that are worth a visit.
