Outside mirror creak

Well this is an interesting one.

When I open the drivers door or passanger door the mirror housing makes a horible creaking noise. It seems to be dependent on the temp. because it sounds worse when its warmer out than when its colder. I have the sport package so I have shadowline trim. I think its the mirror housing rubbbing up against the lower strip of shadowline trim.

I just wanted to see if anyone had the same problem and what did the dealer
do to fix it thanks!

My p side mirror cracked in 3o degree weather. Dealer said it was not part of the warrenty put they replaced it anyways after I proved that it cracked on its own.

The glass cracked. I didnt hear anything though I just saw it when I was backing up.
