Hi people,
So i was thiking of a little something and hopefully their might be some people interested.
So as some of you E92 335 owners might have read on the site vishnu's mod is truly amazing...
Now some people up in Vancouver flew him down from his hometown in California to mod their cars with his famous xede mod.
Now i was wondering if any of you 335 E92 owners might be willing to split the costs and get him to come down here and install the xede...
Maybe sometime around Febuary or March...
You see I am only getting my car in Late January and to be quite honest I would absolutely love to do that mod...
So i'm thiking maybe some of us Montrealers who are interested in doing the Vishnu xede mod can all chip in and get the guy to come down here...
I'm thiking if we're say 5 people it should cost us no more the 200$ each for flight and hotel for the guy.
So hopefully some people would be interested in this...
The more people we are the better it is and the cheaper it is for all us...
And i guess this request applies to anyone in the Greater Montreal, Quebec area...
Let me know and i can contact him and see how we can work something out.

Well i don't mind waiting until March anyhow once the weather gets a little better and all the quirks (if there are any are resolved by then).
So i guess we're 3 right now...

So i emailed Shiv and told him a group in Montreal was planning on doing his Mod sometime in March...
I soon as i get an answer i'll let you guys know.

Absolutely, honestly right now what we need the most is DTC, not Xede

My thoughts exactly as well...
Not only will it give a couple of people time to get their car delivered but any quirks or issues with the Mod should be resolved by then.
And hopefully our snow will be gone by then

So i spoke to Shiv on the phone today and he's a really cool guy...
So he's willing to come down to Montreal sometime in Febuary or March and get this thing done for us.
Here's what we need...
5 people
Transport and stay have to be covered. ( which should be no more the 200$ each if we are 5 people).
He basically told me he is getting booked solid every day and that if we want to get thing done we need to make a group reservation soon.
He said that it would take about 10 min to install the xede.
So i guess all 5 cars would be done in one day.
So here's hoping we get him down here and get this done.
By the way the xede mod cost 1300$...
So let's start a poll and see how many want to do this thing.

Have you ask him about tuning? if it is only install, you me and anybody else can do it, no need to bring him here

He said we need a dyno run as well and we would need a garage that has a dyno...

Good, now we need to know what Zekes will charge us for all the dyno runs, just to add this to the $1500usd

It's actually 1300$ US.
And the more we are the less expensive it will be to bring Shiv over.
We can find a flight online for 400-500$ Canadian and the add maybe an extra 200$ Canadian for 2 day hotel stay...
So that's between 600 to 700$ Canadian divided by the number of people we are...
I will be calling the dyno testing place tomorrow to find out how much it would cost.
Will post the price when i know...

I knew I should have specified it... $1500 was xede + shiv...
