I have been reading this forum for a while now but this is my first post.
My e90 330i was delivered to me with the wrong set of manuals. My car has iDrive and Navigation and i was given the manuals with no iDrive or Navigation info. I was also given the manual for the non iDrive radio. My SA told me the manual was correct, so i had to find out for myself the correct part number for my VIN and it was not the one I had. My question is are there any other books or pamphlets that would come with my car (e90 330i w/idrive) that would not come with a 325i non idrive.

there's only one book I believe that covers (in Canada at least) 323i/325i/330i and both iDrive and non-iDrive.

BMW notes an issue here with the e92 so my guess is teh e90 may have similar issue:

SITUATION
The Owner's Manuals for radio and telephone operation are missing from the vehicle

AFFECTED VEHICLES
This Service Action involves E92 (3 Series) vehicles which were produced from June 12, 2006 to August 2, 2006.

In order to determine if a specific vehicle is affected by this Service Action, it will be necessary to utilize the "Service Menu" of the DCS (Dealer Communication System). Based on the response of the system, either proceed with the corrective action or take no further action.

The Chassis Number Ranges listed below are only for informational purposes and are not to be considered as the only deciding factor.

Install both the Radio and Telephone Owner's Manuals in the vehicle document portfolio.

LABEL INSTRUCTIONS

This Service Action has been assigned code number 475. After the vehicle has been checked, and corrected if necessary, obtain a label (SD 92-295) and:

emboss your BMW dealer warranty number in the middle of the label (1);

punch out code number 475 printed on the label (2) and,

affix the label to the B pillar as shown.

If the vehicle already has a label from a previous Service Action/Recall Campaign, affix the new label next to the old one. Do not affix one label on top of another one because a number from an underlying label could appear in the punched-out hole of the new label.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
Reimbursement for this Service Action will be via Campaign Entry.
