Parking Lighting
I am not sure if this came up previously, but does all new e90/e92 has a “parking light” switch for the headlight? Somehow I can only see 3 positions of the headlight switch on the dashboard.

what do you mean by parking light? If you mean parking light in the european sense i.e. having one side of lights on to mark your car for side street parking, then yes the E90s do have this feature. Its activated by leaving your lights on auto and hitting the turn signal stalk in the desired direction, as you exit your car.

Oh wait, do you leave it on when you get out of the car? Doesn't it run down the battery?

Yeah, does it go away or it stays on all the time. I believe it stays on all the time, but may be wrong.

it should stay on all the time otherwise it negates the function of the parking lights but I am not 100% sure, the car has a built in battery run-down I think...also not sure how it relates to the auto-light sensor i.e. if it switches off at sun up for e.g.
