Not one problem with the car

Every day i love it more and more. Its funy because ive heard from friends over and over "everyone loves thier car when they first get it, but get over it after a couple weeks." They are all wrong. I catch myself turning around and looking at it as i walk away from it parked every time. I love it more than i ever have and am looking forward to the future. The mod bug has hit and im loving it.

peace all, Hope you all have similar experiences...what a great car with such a great shelf life!

I hear you. I'm waiting for my new car infatuation to fade, but it hasn't faded one bit.

I have the exact opposite problem. I find it hard to look at mine. My car is 6 days old and looks horrible. I need to move back to Hermosa Beach for a few months till the weather gets better.

cantCope I saw the pics of your car next to your dads lambo and they both look absolutely amazing. You are a lucky man! Enjoy the cars and Santa Barbra, I hope he lets you take that thing out every once in a while.

Yup. Redelivered in July and I'm still totally obsessed with it. This forum feeds that though...

My cars are 3 and 18 years old respectively. I still turn around and look. Come march when I have the e92 I expect nothing less. This is exactly what makes these cars special, the "soul"... not the power, not the handling.

Way cool sig, Noro!

My car is 52,000kms and one year old, and I love it more than ever too!

It's when I took off the RFTs and added Burl Wood that my love turned really hot though!!

I have the sedan version but have to say that after about a month that this is the best BMW I have owned. It is fast, smooth, agile, comfortable, and just plain fun! My only complaint is the runflats, and those will go when I get my BBS Ch 19" wheels.

Previous BMWs: 01 530, 03M3 coupe, 06 550.

haha this is so funny. I do the same thing. I always turn and look at my car.

I always park next other bimmers at my work.(so she wont feel lonely while i am at work ). today i even took picture of it. So i will have it on my laptop while at work.

I miss her sooo much that I might move out from my apartment and move in to my car.

I was going to put +1, but at this point it's more like +23 or something. What a great car. I keep expecting to get used to it, to habituate, but it's like my wife that never ceases to amaze me how lucky I am.

Serious "Love In" going on here. It IS a great car ..... and yes I am happy to have it ........ but I sometimes wish this car wasn't quite so refined ..... or common ....... as I look back on the "unsual"stable of new cars I have owned over the years, I miss some of the oddballs ......... 1974 Fiat 124 Sport (My first Manual Transmission, 4 door "boxcar"), 1979 Renault Gordini (Black coupe with removable top and red Recarro Seats), 2001 Turbo Beetle (Embarrassed a 2003 BMW 530i one great day) ........

I think, I would have been happier had I waited a year for the 335i coupe ...... seems to combine the raucous with the refined!

Time for another trip to BMW Performance School !
