Need Energy

Its 3 and I leave work in about an hour and have a test at 6 for math. Im super sleepy, and out of energy. What should I drink?

Coffee usually works, but its too 80+ today.

Do those 5hour shots work?

Any suggestions?

5 hour shots kinda work.
Go to gnc, buy some jack3d and drink 2 scoops with water. Endless energy, no crash

5hour is a lot like coffee...they call it 5hour because that's the half life of coffee...to keep the extra bs out, drink coffee...however, i do drink redbulls, 5hours and coffee...i like a variety.

definitely try Jack3d. I just bought and tried it for the first time yesterday and it makes a worlds difference. I havent tried the tropical punch flavor but the lemon lime is quite tasty and not too sweet, tastes kinda like gatorade. Also, no crash.

the salesperson was explaining how people go into the store (the vitamin shoppe) to do reviews on products and they dont even want to know about Jack3d because they already know its one of the best pre workout drinks available. They usually ask about the other stuff on the shelf...

Jack3d is amazing but can be very addicting when you over dose! Be careful.

I don't really know what to suggest other than just exercise on a regular basis (even if it's only for 15-30 minutes). It will give you natural energy. I've tried Endorush, 5 hour energy, coffee, and none of it worked. I took the 5 hour shot once and actually yawned like 3 times within an hour. I've tried Monster and while it didn't get me jittery, it did keep me awake (sort of...).

I wouldn't suggest drinking anything like that on a regular basis because it's not healthy for you. Drinking energy drinks every day (maybe even more than once a day) will fuck up your body.

Forget about all the crap being sold that's expensive and not healthy. Get fit, get rest, eat healthy and you will never be tired until bedtime.

+1 you are retarded if you take the easy way out. Eat healthy and workout everyday and you will have plenty of energy. If you eat like crap you will feel like crap and then you will post a thread like this saying "Im tired, what's a quick fix".

You can eat healthy and workout everyday and all your problems in health will be gone. Stick with coffee and green tea for your caffine if you need some.

For those of you liking Jack3d...should try Omega Sports FlashOver or iForce Nutrition Maximize V2...much better pumps and the same amount of focus/energy.

I personally use NO Xplode for my 5:15am workout sessions and have energy through much of the morning as well with no crash during work.

I haven't ventured to much else. Be careful with 5hr energy as it has enough B vitamins to do serious harm if you take more than 1 at a time or in close proximity to each other.

As for energy drink I personally prefer Rockstar Zero. Tastes good, zero carbs/sugar.

+1 on steering clear of most energy drinks. 5 hour energy - wish I'd "invented" it - not because it's good stuff; just the profit/production ratio is likely huge.

Anyway, I'd go with coffee (Iced if it's hot outside) or green tea. Green tea and caffeine in moderation daily are possibly beneficial for your health (neuro, cardiac), aside from getting you going. There's also the staring-into-light trick: can't remember the specifics, but the military showed some short-term benefits in pilots. This again, is for situations such as your current; not daily, long-term.

I've heard crystal meth is great also. Lol jk. I've been trying a couple of things lately and I think the best source of energy for me is Monster, and Coffee.

Venti black eye, hot or iced. I've gotten 2 shots before but I think it's too much too fast for my body...like a caffeine OD and I just get tired

I've tried jack3d, it really does nothing for me. It helps me focus a little more while in the gym, but IMO its a very overrated product.

I'd suggest staying away from shit like NO xplode and jack3d...

+1

Before going back to the gym and eating healthy, I'd always crash at around 2-4pm everyday. Things are different now. The only time I get tired is due to stress or lack of sleep. No more afternoon crash for me
