E92 Fold down rear seats

Went to try to fold down the rear seats in my 328xi coupe and couldn't because the two levers in the trunk were missing. Is this normal or do I need the cold weather package to be able to fold down the rear seats? In the manual, it didn't say anything about this feature being optional so maybe I should go to my dealership to get it installed?

Edit: Turns out I was looking at the wrong place. The manual made the levers look like it was all the way in the back. Actually, its more near the entrance of the trunk. So I am able to get the rear seats down and I don't have the cold weather option.

That's absurd. I see the place where the levers should be and all it is is 2 plastic levers which should cost $1 to make.

Edit: according to the BMW website, the split fold down rear seats are standard. Looks like I'm going to the dealership.

You have to pay for that option...it is part of the cold weather package, along with heated front seats and ski sack. I am not sure if you can order it stand alone (too late anyway... )

You can order the fold down seats and ski sack alone...cost $475

Typical BMW, a $1 cost option being sold for $475

Yeah - I thought they were standard for the E92. You pay for them with the E90.

According to the bmw website, they are listed as standard equipment on the vehicle overview, but when you build your own it mentions them as part of the optional cold weather package...however when you look at the options in the vehicle overwiew, it does not list fold down seats as part of the cold weather package...Now I am
