Car Is In The Shop...jerkiness problem after a cold start
Took my baby in for the jerkiness problem after a cold start. They have to keep it pending a response from BMW and to test it tomorrow morning. I am driving a 328xi now. This sucks. I hope my baby will be alright.

There's an SIB about this problem. It's SIB 12 46 06 for E90/E92 with N54 from 6/1/06 - 9/15/06. Sorry but I keep on forgetting which engine code is for which engine. The SIB refers to a slight bucking under acceleration on cold starts. Primarily noticeable in gears 1-3 and up to 3000 RPM for manual and automatic transmissions. And yes the fix is to reprogram with Progman.
