any list that puts a lexus hybrid over a V10 audi and a 500 hp mustang is not a valid test of what's good

say for example I like hamburgers, this list is the equivalent of somebody else saying that they also like hamburgers, but they prefer dog doo to pizza.

the 335i is over $50,000? I thought the car is a bargain since it is under or at$50,000 well if not fully equipped?

That Lexus hybrid is a surprisingly able car (drove one at the Taste of Lexus event), but yeah, I agree.

I'm sure they factor the value of the car. I agree that the RS4 is a monster. But if the Civic can win Motor Trend's 2006 car of the year, I think this is fair.

Better how? A V8 that pulls a 0-60 1/10 of a second quicker than a 335, weighs nearly 2 tons and costs 50% more? I'm being a little sarcastic, having driven my friends A6 with the 4.2 V8 on a track, I was amazed at what you could throw at that heavy car and it would take it...very well-those Audis handle very well with that all wheel drive

but we're talking about sport/performance cars though, I would qualify the lex as a luxury touring car, not a sport or performance car

LOL I drove the RS4, NOT worth the money, major understeer at high speeds, I would pick 335i over rs4 any day, UNLESS you only drive in a straight line, which I don't.
RS4 is a good (monster/beast) car, but NOT worth the money, if you are in the market to spend than kind of money, look else where than rs4!
fix the understeer and but for now , I also would like to see how e92 M3 racks up against RS4!

and that is just stupid, with the new M3 rumoured to have similar, if not better, numbers than the RS4, that RS4 is gonna be a really expensive door stopper at the Audi dealerships, 'cuz I don't see the new M3 being priced at anywhere near 107k CAD

AUDI SUCKS!

I drove the A4 and X3 Sport on the track on back-to-back and I'd rather drive the X3... much better balance!

The price on the RS4 is just stupid... who wants to pay that when you can get so many other things and actually score at least some level of value for your money?

Plus, I still haven't forgiven Audi for the problem they had with the old 5000s when parents backed over their kids in drive ways due to a sudden acceleration issue.

e92 M3 will likely crush the RS4, m3 better be priced "normally" around the 2006 m3 price since I am "thinking" about trading my 335 after 3 years for e92 m3

I do believe the Audi 5000 issue was driver error. CBS's 60 minutes rigged the tranny with vacum lines so that it would overpower the brakes in their "re enactment".....
X3 looks like a Ford Escape

How come the E90 didn't make it to the list? That's surprising.
