Active Autowerke DP's vs. AR design DP's
I have searched and I can't seem to find anyone who has the Active DP's. They are the same price as the AR DP's, Include the DP patch in the purchase, and also full 3 inch DP's.
Does anyone have the Active DP's? If so how do you like them? Is something bad about the Active ones? Everyone and their mom seems to have the AR ones which makes me think no one likes the Active ones.

Most people on these boards just aren't on the active train because their tune isn't very competitive with the PROcede and JB3.
Active makes great stuff. I have most of it on my car... I plan to get the down pipes eventually. There shouldnt be a siginficant difference... and if you PM Omar e90post has special pricing on the downpipes which is about 100 bucks cheaper than the website suggests. Plus you get the O2 sims. I dont think anyone has written a review about them yet so you could be the first. |

Seems like a relatively new item. AA makes quality products and has been in the business for quite awhile now. I don't think you can go wrong with either!

OP, just buy AR downpipes. They are the best quality hands down.

Well a plus is the AA DP's come with the 02 simulator, I mean I know the sim isn't a major purchase but that is a plus. I also know AA makes good stuff, so I'm curious as to what they're like. I'm not hating on AR's. Just would like to know why no ones got AA's.

I plan on getting AA dp's eventually... just putting more priority on suspension tuning and sets of tires for the track right now.

AR Design has a proven record of great power gains, fitment, and quality. Most people aren't willing to pass on that kind of deal, even if AA is well known and includes the sims. It's just human nature...
and AR Design has great customer support |
