F***me sideways and F*** BMW!!

Ok, I was driving today, everythings perfectly fine and normal, then all of a sudden, my head goes down and im in the air. Turns out I went somewhere around 40 over a dip and there was no sign about it. It was so steep and I hit it so hard the the impact threw my car in the air, killed my batter, and destroyed my computer module.

After the dip, I drove about 200 feet and everything was fine, until I stopped. I noticed that my steering wheel was very hard to turn and only loosend up when I gased the car. So I decided to drive the car home, about 6miles away. As I was driving, a RED Battery light came on, YELLOW gear with an exclamation mark in it, ABS Brakes, RED and YELLOW steering wheel lock, YELLOW large exclamation mark.

So I finally pulled over and let the car rest for about 20 min. I come to turn it on and it wont. The key wont come out, the car has absolutley no power, even the key to open the trunk wont work. After waiting 2 hours under the rain for the tow truck, my car arrives at BMW only to hear that it might not be covered under warranty because it could be consiederd an accident.

My only main conern is, I installed JB2 a few days ago. Will my warranty be voided or not.

Yes it will. ESPECIALLY if you take it to Pacific, or Center bmw...But if you do go to Center, request John Ives, he will take care of you, and even if he finds the jb2 he wont mention it or take note. He is pretty much the best guy there, and at all costs avoid any armenian SA's.

And you probably just got him fired!

Seriously though, I don't understand what happened. You hit a bump in the road? Pot hole? How's this BMW's fault?

OP...why are you mad at the car? If anything it is your fault for not seeing the pothole.

did they say what the issue was? im guessing that your battery was jarred loose and the negative terminal was loosened. ive seen all the lights go on before and once you shut the car down, it wont go on. if you are able to get into the trunk and reseat the negative terminal the car should be fine. as far as body damage, i doubt that will be covered.

Nope. This is not OP's fault. If you do the same thing with a lexus, toyota, or even a mercedes, I am willing to bet that it wouldnt damage the car to this degree as it has damaged his bmw. Im sorry, but our cars cant handle rough roads like some cars can. Dealership should fix it all under warranty, but chances are, they wont. Especially in this economy, they are super greedy. They didnt even do recall work for me even while under warranty. Thats why ive learned to fix stuff myself, and if anything like what happened to you happens to me, then its all independant shop.

Sorry aper:/ delershiperin mayreru kunem, amenu!

Well if they don't cover it your insurance should...

This isn't BMW's problem, this is technically an accident.

because what should be covered under warranty isnt.

On another note, If they say its an accident, and find my chip, they cant void my warranty because, the only way they void warranty is it i put a product and it causes a manufacture defect. This has striclty to do with insurance, not warranty.

This is seriously the stupidest thread I have ever read. When you hit a pothole and damage your car, its an ACCIDENT. Why the fu%K would bmw fix your car because you hit a pothole? Call your insurance company.
