Yo E90! Long time creeper on the forums, thinking of buying some rims of course for my e90. Was thinking of matte black rims except the prospect of getting curb rash, so with this in mind show off your curb rash!! lets see some pain!

I have curb rash on all 4 wheels (197s).
On a side note, my girlfriend has driven my car 4 times.

i thought it would be a good idea to make a thread so that the members can share in the pain and teach others that curbs are you enemy

By this logic why even buy a car? you might crash or someone will crash into you?

btw I would love to see fat tires with rim guards with curb rashes. why ppl curb wheels is beyond me lol.

How about don't hit curbs?

It's really not that hard, just be careful and check your mirrors. Zero rash for me, except when you hand polish a set of wheels, you tend to be a little more careful.

Yea its the mindset...I"m usually pretty good, but this one time I was driving 10-11 hrs straight from Can to NY through another major US city (hence 10 hrs) ...in torrential rains, and by the time i got there, i was so frustrated and burnt, ijust wanted to park the damn car...and i curbed.

Sometimes it happens, but yea, normally shouldn't happen.

Didn't hit the curb. The person pulling my car out of the car wash hit the track on the way out.

I've never curbed my own rims, but buying used rims sadly resulted in some curb rash being on my car

but I will get em re finished soon enough so they will be perfect again
