Torn fabric headliner by rear windshield, possible self repair?
Hey Ya'll
Yesterday i was cleaning the interior of my car and while i was wiping the back windshield i noticed the fabric headliner along the top corner has two 1" tears. I imagine it happened when i got my car tinted a couple of months ago because i've never touched the area. Is there a way that i can repair the tear or maybe seal it up? I don't want the tear to get bigger.. Thanks! I'll post some pictures later today to help assess the situation. Last edited by sidekick96; 04-19-2010 at 11:13 AM.. |

Yea i have some 3m Hi-Tack 76 adhesive spray enroute, its really nothing serious but its just these little things that bother me. Do you think its a good idea that i use painters tape to cover the area exposed so when i use the spray it wont get all over the place. i just hope it doesnt seep through and end up sticking the tape onto the headliner.
